At Safe House, we recognize that support often extends beyond the individual. For many people experiencing homelessness or instability, pets provide companionship, emotional grounding, routine, and unconditional connection. They are family.

The Safe Paws Initiative was created to help protect that bond by providing essential pet supplies directly through our outreach teams during community engagement.

Through this program, we help distribute items such as:

• Pet food and treats

• Leashes, collars, and harnesses

• Seasonal care items

• Basic hygiene and wellness supplies

Safe Paws is more than a pet support program — it is an extension of our commitment to dignity, harm reduction, and whole-person community care.
